Two-Day Fundemental Golf Academy

Class size: 16 students
Our Two-Day Academy offers 12 hours of instruction over two consecutive days (Sat. & Sun., 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and is ideal for gaining the skills necessary to become a better golfer. This program takes a comprehensive approach to game improvement and provides a balance of instruction covering putting, chipping, pitching, bunker play, and full swing with video/computer analysis. During class each student will receive an equipment evaluation to ensure a proper fit and appropriate set makeup. Prior to each school students will complete the "mental golf profile" to discover their golfing habits and improve the communication avenues with the instructors. Not only will you learn how to execute a variety of shots from 100 yards and in from realistic situations around the green, but we'll give you strategies on how to practice what you learn and how to take your game from the practice tee to the first tee. Lunch and refreshments and gift pack will be provided.

Two Day Short Game

Class Size: 16 Students

This program offers the foundation you need to lower your scores! Instruction begins after an evaluation and handicapping of your short game. All areas of the short game including; putting, chipping, pitching, bunker, flop and specialty shots will be addressed. Prior to each school students will complete the “mental golf profile” to discover their golfing habits and improve the communication avenues with the instructors. We will help you improve in each area, evaluate your improvement and give you a specific practice plan. You will be on your way to lower scores.

10 hours of instruction over two days Sat & Sun 8:00AM-2:00PM.
Each student will receive an equipment evaluation, putter fit, lunch, refreshments and a gift pack

Three-Day Integrated Golf Academy

Mike McGetrick and the McGetrick Golf Academy staff believe in teaching students how to integrate new changes in their game and apply on the course.  We also believe that in order to be your best, you need to develop the mechanical, mental, emotional, and physical aspects of your game. With this philosophy in mind we have developed the most comprehensive 3-day golf school available.

The purpose of this Academy is to:

• Help you understand the components of your game and what changes are necessary

• Learn how to incorporate these changes and apply them on the golf course

• Receive a complete golf fitness assessment with a personalized workout program

• Learn about your mental and emotional tendencies and how to manage them

• Improve your overall performance on and off the course

3 day Integrated Academy includes:

Optimal Performance Academy

Instructors: Elena King and Dr. Denise McGuire During this three day academy you will discover what your technical, mental, emotional and physiological tendencies are in your golf game. In addition, you will learn skills for developing your optimal playing zone in all four of these areas. Elena and Dr. Denise will integrate their expertise to offer a unique learning environment. Our intention is to give you every opportunity to hit the best possible shot.

To do so it is essential to learn what works best for you in the following areas:

• practice routines
• pre-round preparation
• pre-shot routine
• post-shot routine
• time in between shots
• post round analysis

Beginner Golf Instruction

One-On-One Golf Academy

Our One-On-One Golf Academy offers 6 hours of private one-on-one instruction (8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.).
All aspects of the game are covered, and the program is individually tailored to meet your specific golfing goals. Includes full swing instruction with video/computer analysis; as well as an on-course 9-hole playing lesson. You'll come away with a specific plan for improvement. Prior to each school students will complete the "mental golf profile" to discover their golfing habits and improve the communication avenues with the instructors. Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Each student will receive an instruction manual and a take-home CD with instructor comments. Call the Academy to schedule your day.

Women's Academies

Class Size: 8 Students

Three Day Academy (8:00am- 2:00pm). This clinic is designed specifically for the woman wanting to learn the game of golf. Instruction will include basic fundamentals of the game. It will familiarize you with golf etiquette, attire, rules, and verbiage needed to handle yourself while in a golf and or business environment.

Cost: $820.00
Dates: May 21-23, July 15-17

Three Day Junior Camp

Class Size: 30 students Student to instructor ration 6:1
This program helps junior golfers improve their golf games and have fun as they develop good work habits and sound values. The junior camp provides basic instruction covering every skill area and a general understanding of the rules and etiquette. It will also include instruction on our short course. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
